grubblin is a screen-time companion for iPhone. you pick your "doom apps", swear a daily vow of locked hours, and a pixel goblin lives or decays by whether you keep it. streaks evolve him; with grubblin plus, streaks hatch collectible creatures.

the core game — goblin, vows, locks, streaks, evolution — is free.

grubblin plus unlocks the hatchery (mystery eggs, collectible creatures) and HD exports.

monthly subscription one-time lifetime unlock

prices are shown in the app and on the App Store. subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your Apple account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. purchases are handled entirely by Apple.

the shield isn't appearing on my doom apps

check Settings → Screen Time is enabled, and that grubblin still has Screen Time access (iPhone Settings → Screen Time → Apps with Screen Time Access). re-opening grubblin re-arms everything automatically.

i got locked out and need an app urgently

tap the blocked app → "give in". it always unlocks instantly. the goblin will be upset. that's the deal.

restoring a purchase

grubblin → settings → "already bought? restore". purchases live with your Apple ID, so deleting the app never loses them.

deleting my data

everything lives on your phone only — deleting the app deletes all of it, instantly and completely. there is nothing on any server to ask us to remove.

the short version

grubblin collects no data. none. no analytics, no tracking, no accounts, no ads, no third-party SDKs, no servers. everything the app knows stays on your phone.

screen time & family controls

• grubblin uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks (Family Controls, Managed Settings, Device Activity) solely to shield the apps you select and to run the lock schedules you create.
• Apple provides your app selection as opaque tokens — grubblin cannot see which apps you picked, read their contents, or see anything you do inside them.
• usage and lock information is computed and stored only on your device, inside the app's own storage. it is never transmitted anywhere.

notifications

all notifications are local, scheduled on your device. nothing is sent from a server.

purchases

payments are processed by Apple. grubblin only receives Apple's confirmation that a purchase exists — never your payment details or identity.

children

grubblin does not knowingly collect data from anyone — including children — because it collects no data at all.

changes

if this policy ever changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new effective date. since the app has no network connection to you, a policy change can never retroactively affect data — there is none.

• grubblin is provided as-is, for personal use. it is a motivational game, not a medical or therapeutic tool.
• the "give in" escape always remains available — grubblin never locks you out of your phone beyond your own settings, and never blocks calls, messages or system functions.
• in-app purchases and subscriptions are governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and Apple's media services terms. manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
• to the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect damages arising from use of the app — including, but not limited to, emotional damage inflicted by a disappointed goblin.
• all artwork, characters, names and code are the property of the developer. the goblin belongs to everyone's heart, but legally to us.
